- What is Button Button?

Button Button is a very small business offering custom and specialized buttons and other accessories. 

Customized items are temporarily on hold, as of November 2016, but if you'd like to place an order or there's a particular button size or accessory you'rd like to see, please use the contact form! 

- When you say "very small business"... how small?

Button Button is one person :)

While this may be a turnoff to some, by purchasing from Button Button you are supporting a small business, which utilizes all American-made parts and machinery.

Please note that some proceeds from sales go toward supporting Autism Women's Network, various Autism/Neurodiversity lending libraries, and promoting autistic acceptance/information.

- When are Button Button's "business days"?

Monday-Friday. Saturday & Sunday are not counted, although orders may be processed on these days depending on the current amount of orders awaiting processing.

- Which payment methods does Button Button accept?

Payments can be processed by Stripe or PayPal, two of the most trusted online payment processors available online. They both offer top of the line security and fraud protection. Through them, you can pay using Visa, Mastercard, Discover, American Express and Diners Club. 

If paying with PayPal, you may also make payments using your bank account, but this may delay your order being processed until payment clears.

- Do you accept orders placed outside of the US?

Absolutely! International shipping is available. Shipping times vary based on location & size of the order. Please be patient as international shipping can take a while and I've had reports of orders taking as long as two months to be received in some cases.

International shipping charges may seem high, however please consider that it is not inexpensive to ship internationally and shipping price also includes packaging & handling costs.

- How will I know if my order was received?

If ordering custom buttons, you will receive an email from Button Button (via BigCartel) confirming your order has been placed. Within 24 hours, you will be emailed directly 1. to request your artwork 2. with an artwork proof 3. when your order begins the production process and 4. when buttons have been shipped (your tracking number will be included, if a domestic shipment). 

If ordering non-custom buttons, you should receive an email from Button Button (via BigCartel), notifying you that your order has been received. 

- What is Button Button’s return and exchange policy? Can I cancel my order?

If you are ordering non-custom items, please make sure you CHECK YOUR CART before ordering. If you absolutely need to cancel your order, contact Button Button within an hour of placing your order. Your order may be eligible to be canceled and refunded, minus a 10% restocking & processing fee. If you have already received your shipping notification email, you cannot cancel your order, as it has already shipped.

If you are ordering custom items, due to the unique nature of the products, there are no cancelations once an initial artwork proof has been sent to you. If you choose to cancel before you receive an artwork proof for customized items, you may be eligible for a partial refund. There are absolutely no returns or exchanges for customized items.

Expedited orders cannot be canceled under any circumstances, once placed, as processing begins almost immediately.

- Can I change the quantity or add to my order after it has been placed?

Unfortunately, once an order has been placed, the quantity and contents of the order cannot be changed. If you need to change an item or quantity, please immediately email us to cancel your order and then place another order with the correct items/quantities.

- How long will it take to receive my order?

Shipping times vary, depending on location and size of order.

Standard turnaround time (from order placement to delivery) for domestic shipments is approximately 10-14 days; for international shipping it can take 10-60 days, depending on location. 

There may be times when delivery may take longer, due to production demands. Custom buttons always have production priority. If you have not received your buttons within 30 days of placing your order, please use the contact form and be sure to include your order number, if you'd like to check on your shipment status.

If you need your items by a specific date, you MUST utilize expedited shipping.

- I need my buttons by a specific date, can Button Button guarantee that?

If you need your buttons for an event/by a certain date, please utilize the expedited option. Even if your event is three weeks from now, please utilize the expedited option to guarantee receipt by the date of your event.

Expedited processing & shipping is available for an additional fee, for non-custom items only and for orders being sent to addresses located within the United States. The extra price not only includes Priority Shipping, but also allows you to skip ahead of other pending orders.

If you are ordering 50 buttons or less, your order will be processed and shipped by the end of the next business day. If you are ordering more than 50 buttons, your order will be shipped within 2 business days of your order being received. Orders must be received before 12:00PM Pacific Time to go out as scheduled.

Your order will ship via USPS Priority Shipping (generally taking 2-3 business days to arrive, though it can sometimes take up to 5 business days).

If an order cannot be expedited, the customer will be contacted about shipping options available and a partial shipping refund may be offered.

- How will I know if my order has shipped?

You should receive an email with your tracking number when your order has shipped. Within 24 hours of receiving the email, you should be able to track your order via the link provided in the email. 

- Which shipping method(s) does Button Button use?


* 1-49 1.25" buttons = USPS First Class Parcel 

* 50+ 1.25" (or larger) buttons = USPS Priority Mail 

* 1-100 1" buttons = USPS First Class Parcel 

* >100 1" buttons = USPS Priority Mail 

* 1-25 zipper pulls = USPS First Class Parcel 

* >25 zipper pulls = USPS Priority Mail 

* Stickers (up to 50 small or 20 large) = USPS First Class Letter 

* Stickers (>50 small or >20 large) = USPS First Class Parcel 

* Patches (only) = USPS First Class Parcel 

* Lanyards = USPS First Class Parcel 

* Custom orders = USPS Priority Mail


* All items shipped via expedited shipping = USPS Priority Mail


* Buttons, patches, lanyards, zipper pulls = USPS First Class Parcel International 

* Stickers = USPS First Class Letter International

- Does Button Button offer tracking/insurance?

If your order is shipped via USPS Priority Mail or First Class Parcel (domestic or international), it will have a tracking number attached to it. You should receive your tracking number, via email, once your order has shipped. Please allow up to 2 business days for the package to be active within the USPS system.

All domestic custom orders are insured; all domestic non-custom orders shipped via USPS Priority Mail is insured. Insurance is not available on any international orders.

- It's been over 2 weeks since I ordered! Where's my stuff?!

Your patience is greatly appreciated. Button Button is a very small business and thus, does not have the luxury of ultra-fast turnaround times like a larger business, such as Amazon (which is a product distributor, not a manufacturer as Button Button is).

Sometimes an order may not import correctly into the order processing software. Sometimes an order may be delayed or lost in the mail. If you have not received a shipping notification within 3 weeks of placing your order or you have not received your order within 2 weeks of receiving a shipping notification email, contacting Button Button directly with your order number is the quickest and most efficient way to come to a solution.

- I received the wrong item(s)... what gives?!

Please contact Button Button ASAP with your order number and a description of what was received (packaging, number of buttons, how they were bagged, etc.) within 2 business days of receiving them. If you do not contact Button Button within 5 days of package receipt, your order is assumed to be correct and no refunds or replacements will be issued.

- If my order is returned to Button Button, will it be reshipped?

Please be VERY careful when entering your shipping address, as packages cannot be re-routed after they are shipped. If you have received an email that a label has been created for your order, it is too late to change the address.

Unfortunately, due to the cost of shipping & packaging, we cannot reship your order once it is returned to us. 

If your order is returned to us for an incorrect/insufficient address OR as a damaged package, you will be refunded for the full price of the items you ordered. If your order is returned marked "refused" or "return to sender" you will be refunded for the price of the items you ordered, minus a 10% restocking & processing fee. This is non-negotiable.

- I need you to help me with formatting and/or artwork for my custom buttons, how do I do that?

Be sure to add the appropriate selection from the quantity of buttons you desire. In the "special instructions" section during checkout, please note the best email address at which to contact you and we will get back to you within 1 business day to begin that process.

- Can I re-order custom buttons from you?

Absolutely!! We keep all artwork on file, so add the quantity of custom buttons you would like to your cart and make sure to include your previous artwork file code (you will receive this with your artwork proof and subsequent emails) with your order submission (use the "special instructions" box during checkout). Your order will begin processing within one business day, unless otherwise specified, if nothing needs to be changed.

- Can I get a licensed character or artwork which does not belong to me on my buttons?

Button Button respects copyright laws and adheres to copyright policies. Button Button does the best to not fulfill orders attempting to reproduce a recognized copyright character/logo. Unfortunately, Button Button cannot recognize every owned artwork in existence. By submitting artwork, you agree to adhere to all trademark, copyright, patent, or related laws and it is your responsibility to secure all rights and permissions potentially required to utilize any non-original artwork. The customer assumes FULL liability for all claims and/or litigation arising from alleged infringement of laws on any requested design/copy/artwork/etc.

- How do I submit my own artwork to you?

You can use Button Button's template (which we will email to you upon receiving your order) to create a button to your own liking OR you can send your artwork to have it fit to templates specifications OR Button Button can custom design one for you with all new artwork, logos, fonts, etc.
